A snowy Sunday saw the inaugural Annual Skittles Match between members of the Mark and the acting Provincial Officers in the Craft.
The Ivy Club in Sheldon was full of players and supporters from both Orders all of whom enjoyed a friendly, competitive game and a superb buffet lunch provided by W Bro Cedric Stiles. The Mark degree very generously provided an engraved Trophy.
The Craft triumphed by a large margin and their team coach, inspirational and cheer leader (and incidentally Provincial Grand Secretary) W Bro Chris Rogers said "The team responded magnificently to the challenge and we look forward to defending the Trophy next year".
Craft Deputy Provincial Grand Master, VW Bro Alan Wellan, accepted the Trophy on behalf of the Province and expressed his thanks to the Mark Provincial Grand Master RW Bro Roger Mac for organising an event which was not only enjoyable but cemented links between the Craft and the Mark.
In addition to the social aspect of the event, a charity raffle took place, with beneficiaries to include Acorns Hospice.
