Summer Sports Fete & Fun Day for All
Following last year's highly successful Summer Sports Fete and Tug-o-War competition for lodges in the Warwick area, organised by Guy's Lodge 395 and Lodge of Unity 567, the event is once again taking place on Saturday 19th July 2014 between 1.00pm and 4.00pm, at the Old Leamingtonians Rugby Club.
This year, all lodges in the Province are cordially invited to join in the fun and bring their families and friends along. The aim is to raise c.£2,000 for charity and have 16 tug-o-war teams.
Entry is free on the day and there will be many events for all family members to participate in. The Tug-o-War competition will need to have a Captain appointed from each lodge, with applications being submitted before 4th July 2014; entry for Tug-o-War teams is £15 per team. Teams are not restricted to lodge members, but to those associated with lodges, making it easier for lodges to raise a team (please, no ringers - it’s a fun event!).
Some very serious "pulls" in the tug-o-war competition
