Famous Freemasons
There are famous freemasons from all walks of life and all
nations. You may not realize how many of our most famous world leaders, leaders
in the arts, religious leaders, and other well know men have been Masons.
Over the years many men of importance have been Freemasons. This demonstrates that they have embraced the principals and tenets of Freemasonry.
They include several English Kings,
political leaders and industrial notables - among them, in England, King Edward
VII and VIII, King George IV, V and VI, Sir Winston Churchill and, in the
United States, Henry Ford, George Washington, Theodore and Franklin D
Roosevelt, Harry S Truman and Astronaut, John H Glenn, Jr.
In music, people like Mozart, Beethoven, Liszt, WS
Gilbert, Sir Arthur Sullivan and George Gershwin were Freemasons.
There are a variety of Freemasons in the theatrical arts, possibly the most notable currently, comedian Jim Davidson.
